Rohit Revo, Sydney marriage celebrant, speaking at a ceremony

Ceremonies that feel genuinely yours

I'm a Sydney-based marriage celebrant with a passion for creating ceremonies that truly reflect the people at the centre of them. Having worked with couples from dozens of cultural backgrounds, I understand that no two love stories are ever the same. If you're comparing marriage celebrants in Sydney, that's the difference — every ceremony built around the couple in front of me, never a template. Based in Bella Vista, I'm proud to be the #1-rated marriage celebrant in the Hills District, celebrating weddings across the Hills and Greater Sydney.

My approach is warm, unhurried, and deeply personal. I take the time to get to know you both, so that on your wedding day, every word feels like it was written just for you — because it was.

Not sure what shape your day should take yet? Compare every type of ceremony — from a fifteen-minute legal ceremony to a full cultural celebration — and see which one fits.

My Story
"The ceremony is the heart of your wedding day. Everything else is the celebration around it."Star Celebrant — Sydney

The moment it all becomes real

This is what I pour my craft into — not just the words, but the feeling they create. When a ceremony is written and delivered with genuine care, it doesn't simply mark the moment. It moves everyone in the room.

Here is one of those moments, captured just after a couple spoke their vows — the kind of feeling I work to create at every wedding I have the honour of celebrating.

The moment just after the vows — a real Star Celebrant ceremony.

Love stories we've had the honour of telling

★★★★★

"From our very first meeting, Rohit understood our story and created a ceremony that was truly personal and meaningful. It was heartfelt, engaging, and exactly what we dreamed of — many of our guests said how wonderful it was."

Sukh Sandhu
★★★★★

"Rohit handled the entire legal process smoothly, but what sets him apart is how beautifully he explained what marriage really means — deeply personal rather than a formality. Comfortable in both English and Hindi, he felt like part of our family."

Kanwar
★★★★★

"Very thankful for the excellent support during our court marriage process. Polite, cooperative, and made the whole procedure easy and stress-free — all documentation and formalities handled efficiently."

Common Questions

Choosing a Wedding Celebrant in Sydney

How much does a wedding celebrant in Sydney cost?
Every couple's day is different, so I quote on what yours involves rather than a one-size price. For a legal ceremony with all your paperwork handled — lodged with Births, Deaths & Marriages within 24 to 48 hours, and a free letter to support a partner or student visa once your NOIM is signed — it's a single all-inclusive fee from $650, around the same as the government registry office (except I come to you, any day or evening). Tell me your plans and I'll give you an exact figure, or see what's included in each package.
What should I look for when comparing marriage celebrants in Sydney?
Beyond the legal side, look for someone who writes your ceremony around the two of you rather than reading from a template, who's comfortable with your families and languages, and whose past couples sound genuinely happy. I'm 5.0-star reviewed by couples across Sydney, work in English, Hindi and Punjabi, and write every ceremony from scratch. The best test is a conversation — have a chat with me and see how it feels.
Are you a registered marriage celebrant?
Yes — I'm a fully authorised Commonwealth-registered marriage celebrant (Authorisation No. A23856), so the marriages I perform are legally recognised across Australia. I'll lodge your Notice of Intended Marriage, guide you through the paperwork, and make sure everything is done correctly and on time.
Do you take small, intimate or short-notice ceremonies?
Absolutely. Some couples want a grand celebration; others just want the two of them, a witness or two, and the legal essentials — in a garden, on a beach, or in their living room. I do both, including intimate and short-notice legals-only ceremonies when timing is tight, such as a visa deadline. If you're not sure what you need, tell me your situation and I'll talk you through the options.
How do we book you as our Sydney wedding celebrant?
Start with a conversation — call or message me with your date and rough plans. I'll confirm I'm free, answer your questions, and once you're happy we'll lock in the date and begin shaping your ceremony. You can also check my availability for your date first.
